False Copyright Claim by Marshall Masters

Upon reading our Emails we were shocked to find that our video on our YouTube page had been removed for apparent copyright infringement. However, we were not shocked to find that the person who filed the false copyright notice to YouTube was none other than Marshall Masters of yowusa.com (Your Own Books, Inc.) Image below.

Our response to you Mr. Masters is this, filing false copyright notices against people is illegal and you will be held accountable for your actions. We are now in the process of filing a counter claim because there was nothing in our video that belonged to you, it was a video simply promoting our blog sites. But because our site is dedicated to exposing scammers, fraudsters and fear mongerers such as yourself, you took it upon yourself to try and get rid of the people who expose your lies by breaking the law, something we have proof of you doing to other users on YouTube we might add. Also you can try and get our blogs removed if you wish, we have everything backed up, posts, comments etc so every blog of ours you remove another three will take its place. YouTube will also see that you had no right to get our promotional video taken down so lets hope they’ll see that and suspend your account for false copyright infringement. Shame on you Mr. Masters.

UPDATE: We decided not to pursue this matter. Not because we wouldn’t have had the video put back up, but because we believe the copyright claim by Marshall Masters was a futile ‘bait’ attempt to gather personal information about us to add to his laughable FatwaForProfit article he wrote when repeated diehard attempts to get our blogs removed failed. Naturally this annoyed him to boiling point and he decided to publish his OTT article with all kinds of malicious accusations. Yes, when our blog was first up and running we had a column called ‘Faces of Evil’ with pictures of these charlatans on it. When people spread lies and fear about this 2012/Nibiru doomsday BS, scaring and corrupting the minds of young people by basically saying billions of us are going to die just so they can line their pockets by selling useless Survival Guides, or when you get demented fruit loops like Nancy Lieder convincing people to kill their pets before the 2003 Pole Shift, we believe we were more than justified to call these people evil and have their mugshots up on our blog at the time. The article Marshall Masters wrote on us proved nothing apart from showing what a slimey individual he really is. We have no idea what he is beating his chest about by showing we are from the UK, which isn’t the case. This blog is maintained by a number of people who are close friends and family who are from the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, all of which also have access to our YouTube channel. If we wanted to hide the UK location on our screen cap above we would have done so before posting it! No ‘Smoking Gun’ here, just a link on a screen cap everyone can see. Duh! His article does prove one thing though, and that’s the obvious effect our blog had on him. We’re not a huge blog, and if the “traffic to their blog is falling” as he puts it, why did he feel the need to write a four page article on us? Truth hurts I guess and when WordPress and Blogger basically tell you to get lost for filing false reports to get blogs removed he had to sweat over his keyboard for an hour or two writing an article. WordPress and Blogger aren’t like YouTube Marshall, you can’t just go around filing false claims left right and centre and get away with it. Briefly going back to the first point, not that it matters to us anyway, our blog traffic is rapidly increasing. Since April 2009 we have been averaging around 600 hits per month, which we think aint bad. But even if only one person per day visited our blog we’d be happy. Of course Marshall Masters worries about traffic, he has 2012 books, home study CDs and subscriptions to sell. So of course people like him will see red when they stumble upon blogs like ours. Also, what Marshall Masters has achieved by registering the domain names yowcrooks.com, yowcrooks.net, yowcrooks.org, yowcrooks.info and yowcrooks.biz and linking them all to his trashy article is beyond us. Just him throwing his toys out of his pram perhaps? It doesn’t annoy us in the slightest, and going back to the last point once again it has in fact pushed more traffic our way. It’s nice to see this is what he’s spending your money on! Another reason this blog was set up was kind of like a stepping stone to a fully fledged website, which will be coming in the very near future. If Marshall Masters thought we were going to call it yowcrooks.com or one of the other domains then he thought wrong. It will be called something much more appealing 🙂 Finally we had to laugh when Marshall was trying to take all the credit for the SOHO images debunking. With his permission, we used an article Phil Plait of Bad Astronomy wrote back in 2005, that’s right 2005. Marshall’s article was written in March 2009. We used Plait’s article because it was 100% relevant to the newest wave of ‘Nibiru SOHO Images’ to hit many conspiracy and video websites and Plait used images from SOHO that showed the exact same ‘anomaly’. Sorry, Marshall, but you failed in trying to steal Plait’s thunder. He debunked the images first in 2005, not you in 2009. Oh and before we forget, thank you, Marshall, for calling us “UK pricks”, you really don’t like the United Kingdom very much do you? Seeing this written in his article was a prime example of Marshall Master’s showing his true colours.

Q&A With NibiruShock2012 – Part 1

UPDATE: We never got round to asking NibiruShock2012 anymore questions. Repeated attempts at trying to contact him via YouTube have failed.

Sorry its been a while since any new posts on our blog, we have so much stuff to go over ready for new future articles that we’re pretty bogged down at the moment sorting out the important stuff from the not so important. The following article, or Q&A we feel is very important. You may have read some of our past articles mentioning the YouTube user by the name of NibiruShock2012. Over the past few weeks we here at Yowcrooks have been submitting questions to NibiruShock2012 about his hoax videos that he posted on YouTube back in February 2008 that caused a frenzy of activity in the Nibiru world, and he kindly allowed us to make a Q&A article about it. This will be published in two parts. So, without wasting anymore time, lets get to it.

Yowcrooks: We would like to start off by thanking you for accepting our Q&A invite. I suppose the first and obvious questions would be, why did you make the hoax videos?
NibiruShock2012: You’re welcome. I’m glad I have finally got a site like yours that wants to ask serious questions and not be abusive towards me for what I did. The reason why I made the videos was simply a test. A test to see how many people could be so easily fooled by afew pictures that took me about 10 minutes to make in photoshop. I didn’t expect the videos to get as many views as they did in such a short period of time and certainly didn’t expect websites to start running articles on them and saying they believed they were 100% genuine.

Yowcrooks: Was this the desired effect you were after when making/uploading the videos for YouTube?
NibiruShock2012: Well I wanted to see how many people could be fooled. I didn’t expect high profile people in the Nibiru community to analyse the pictures and say they were genuine. If anything I expected them to dismiss the pictures instantly.

Yowcrooks: How did it make you feel that so many people believed the photos were real?
NibiruShock2012: At first I found it funny that so many people could believe they were real. I found it funny that so called “experts” in the Nibiru field said they analysed the pictures and proved 100% they were not photoshopped hoaxes. At first this was the reaction I was after but if anything that made it worse.

Yowcrooks: Made it worse in what way?
NibiruShock2012: I think by people who are pretty well respected by Nibiru believers analyzing the pictures and saying they were genuine made it worse. I started getting hundreds of messages in my YouTube inbox from people who were really terrified by the videos I uploaded and seeing videos by other people who analysed the pictures and said they 100% real.

Yowcrooks: What kind of questions were these people asking you?
NibiruShock2012: They were asking me things like how much time do they have left? Where is the best place to go to try and survive this? I remember one message I got from a young woman saying she wanted to have an abortion because she didn’t want her child to go through this. I even got messages off people saying they wanted to commit suicide because of this whole Nibiru 2012 thing scared them so much. This is when I decided to pull the plug and come clean about the videos.

Yowcrooks: Lets talk a little about the hoax declaration. Why did you upload the “X Configuration” video and the coded message video that spelled “THIS IS A HOAX”? rather than just simply saying all the videos are hoaxes?
NibiruShock2012: Good question. I’m not entirely sure myself to be honest. I think I wanted to keep a little more mystery in the videos rather than just blurting out it was all a hoax. The X Configuration video was done just to see how many people would stop, and think to themselves hang on a minute this is getting silly now. Either way it wouldn’t have mattered, too many people were already convinced the pictures were real and then conspiracies started going around that my account had been hijacked by a government agent that was trying to dismiss the videos as a hoax.

Yowcrooks: Lets talk a little about that. What do you think when you see people saying your account was hijacked? We have also noticed another channel on YouTube, NibiruShock2010 that claims they are you and they have re-uploaded your first three videos. Alot of other people have also re-uploaded your videos. How does this make you feel?
NibiruShock2012: Well first of all the people who say my account was hijacked are just pathetic conspiracy theorists that just want to keep the Nibiru myth alive via my videos. They have no proof my account was hijacked apart from the words of one man, Marshall Masters. That’s why afew months ago I decided to re-open my account to prove it wasn’t hijacked and closed. The NibiruShock2010 user I have no idea who that is or why they are claiming to be me. It’s pretty low and desperate to say the least. As for others who have uploaded my videos there is nothing I can do about that. But that should be enough to convince people I’m not a government agent trying to get rid of these videos because if I was I would have made sure that not one of those videos remained on YouTube. But because I’m not I don’t really care who re-uploads them. At the end of the day I know I am who I say I am and I know I was the one who made those pictures. I don’t really care what people say or think about them anymore, I know they are fake and there isn’t much longer to wait now before everyone else who believed they were real will be proved wrong.

Yowcrooks: You mentioned Marshall Masters there. There was a time when people thought you could actually be Marshall Masters and these videos were a ratings and publicity scam to sell more books. We here at Yowcrooks were also suspicious of this. Did you have any contact with Marshall Masters of yowusa.com during your hoax? Also what do you think of his so called “analysis” and “highly credible” conclusion regarding your photos?
NibiruShock2012: I think he contacted me via YouTube once or twice but he sent quite alot of messages trying to get me to reply before I messaged him back. This was when the hoax was peaking and he was writing all sorts of articles about the videos and also uploading his own videos about them. I did send a lenghy reply back which he then decided to sell on his website before allowing people to read it. I do honestly have to say that because of the videos I made he got alot more people visit his site and probably sold alot more books and got more subscriptions, so on that side of things he got what he wanted out of it. As for his analysis on my pictures I found it hilarious that he could come to a “highly credible” conclusion. At least for me anyway it proved that he and his disciples have no idea what they’re doing or what they’re talking about. I honestly believe he knows they are fake but because he ran so many articles and did his own videos on them he wanted to keep as many people believing him as possible. It would probably have had a severe impact on his credibility otherwise. But I knew he would be one of the first to jump in my inbox and make a buck from it, it’s what scam artists like him do but unfortunately for the people that believe his rubbish they’ll have to learn that the hard way.

Yowcrooks: That brings us to our next question – what do you think of the people like Marshall Masters that are using this Nibiru hoax to make money?
NibiruShock2012: There isnt really anything anyone can do about it apart from keep on exposing them for what they are. I could have quite easily made money from my hoax by saying I had more pictures but I want paying for them but I’m sure people like Marshall Masters has made a nice sum of money from my hoax. It’s probably one of the reasons why he jumped on them so quickly, he saw a golden oppertunity. But scammers like this wont stop, there are alot of people making money from similar scams across the internet. Even when 2012 passes and Nibiru fails to show up once again I doubt the myth will die, it will just be modified and reinvented ready for the next wave of gullible people to part with their money.

Yowcrooks: Our final question to you for now is this – do you regret hoaxing those photos and uploading the videos to YouTube?
NibiruShock2012: Yes. If I could go back in time and change it I would, but I can’t. The only thing that gives me peace of mind is the fact I know the pictures I made and what I said about them is complete rubbish which wont happen, other people will realise this soon and I just hope they wont be so quick to believe in something so stupid in the future, but here’s to wishful thinking!

During some research we came across this very interesting post and a connection between Project Camelot and YOWUSA.com. Our team of investigators are on the case!

I assume that you are young and therefore highly gullable and easily misled. Please do not pray for me. Pray that one day you will remove the blinds from your eyes and see the truth.

There are no restrictions or guidelines to control what is printed on the internet. Because of this, lies and disinformation are running rampant. It is up to you as an individual to use common sense and a healthy dose of skepticism when surfing. Don’t simply go onto a pseudosite and believe everything printed.

Ask yourself why this information is not on a science website. Ask yourself why this information is not being spoken of on any national television news networks. Project Camelot is speaking of scientists AND reputable astronomers when they say that the reason they don’t dare speak out is because “they are in need of research funding”. As usual, we are led to believe that the denial of Nibiru is just one huge cover-up! The cry that shutting down IRAS was a conspiracy. The group openly admits that it refuses to let the Nibiru story die “in spite of vehement denial by almost everybody connected to the astronomical society “.

yowusa- These websites are owned by a group calling themselves Project Camelot. The purpose of Project Camelot is TO SELL BOOKS AND VIDEOS. Led by Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy, the purpose of the group is in their own words “to reveal greater truths through the use of fiction, or fiction based on fact.” Bill is a management consultant and writes about a secret UFO alien-human exchange program which supposedly happened 40 years ago. Kerry is involved in the film industry specializing in UFO documentaries. Together, they make planet x and doomsday films and books in sunny south California. When the interviews state some event which does not occur, the person interviewed in the words of Project Camelot “has some false recall as part of a mind-controlled implanted false reality”. Their belief is that changes to the Earth are occuring due to “various alien agendas “. You can buy their books, videos, CD’s, your very own survival backpack, and they hold speaking engagements at $25/person. And you can subscribe to get onto their book club to enjoy a 20% discount. You can get your discount on such books as the one they wrote about alien/human babies that are here to save the world.

The group promotes the books of Zecharia Sitchen. A man who has been denounced as a fraud. Not a single other scientist nor historian has agreed with Sitchen’s warped interpretation of the Sumerian tablets. Papyrus writings existed 3600 years ago. Not a single page anywhere describes Nibiru’s last pass. Why is that? Perhaps since you are a firm believer, you can explain to us how the Anunnaki survive temperatures on a planet which has a orbital path extending six times farther out than Pluto. Why is the ‘Norweigan Whistleblower’ hiding his face if he is speaking truth? Compare the ‘eyewitness account’ from a ‘reliable source’ to the stories found in tabloid trash supermarket papers. Why is it that the group’s trademark Your Own World sounds so similar to the doomsday cult organization New World Order.

Construction of the South Pole Telescope in Antarctica makes perfect logical sense. Project Camelot’s claims against placing a telescope in Antarctica are solely based upon the premise that Antarctica is an ungodly desolate hell zone to live in. That is their entire stance against construction. In actual truth- which is obvious to anyone who knows anything about astronomy- the best place to put a telescope is where there is little polution, few clouds, and lack of city lights. Antarctica it turns out is the perfect place for a telescope. There is no mystery nor humongous conspiracies to be found. Project Camelot counters that it would suffice to take 5 telescopic pictures in a ‘noisy’ environment instead. In fact, Camelot would much rather the telescope be built in Siberia to save money. They claim that building a telescope on Antarctica would upset the ecology. Why does it seem that Camelot is actually OBJECTING to having a telescope at the south pole?? Is it due to the fear that their only hope of Nibiru existing somewhere south of Earth will be proven to NOT be true? Such a discovery would send a crushing blow to the Nibiru hoaxers.

Ask yourself why ‘the return of Nibiru’ is oddly coinciding with the other false end of the world scenarios. Why was the claim of Nibiru’s return in 2003 swept under the carpet? Are you too young to remember that one? It’s no wonder why persons who are buying into Nibiru 2012 are young. Camelot links Nibiru to 2012 because “There simply has been too much talk of the year 2012”.

So, what do I think? I think you have become a victim of your own gullability because you want to believe that something mysterious exists in your boring day-to-day existence. I think you are free to support groups who are trying to make a quick buck any possible way that they can if it makes you happy. Buy yourself some doomsday books, videos, bumper stickers, and a few t-shirts. Make yourself a sign and stand out on your local street corner. Get yourself a blow horn to broadcast the end of the world to your neighbors and passing cars.

Then, in 2013, understand what doomsday hype is. The greedy preying upon the gullable. And realize how big the lesson was that you needed to learn.

The NibiruShock2012/YOWUSA scam!

Back in February of this year (2008) a channel popped up on YouTube by the name of NibiruShock2012. This user claimed to work at/or know people at the SPT (South Pole Telescope) located in Antarctica. The user uploaded three videos claiming to show pictures of Nibiru taken with this telescope. The videos received thousands of hits in a very short period of time, this largely due to the fact that Marshall Marsters of YOWUSA.com ran many articles on these and made his own laughable “analysis videos” deeming the pictures, and NibiruShock2012 himself, genuine. How anyone could make such a claim by analyzing pixelated screen capped images of the YouTube player is beyond us, but we’ll get into that abit later on. Now, what alot of people didn’t know before NibiruShock2012 closed his YouTube account, is the fact he wen’t to the popular conspiracy website AboveTopSecret.com and came clean about the videos he created. You can find the link to this thread by clicking here. In it, he explained the reasons why they were created and how. Coming clean about the videos and declaring them a hoax he says: “The reason I am coming clean about them is that the situation is getting out of control”. One can only assume, as he states in later posts, this was because of the fast growing popularity of the videos and how many people believed them to be real, helped by Marshall Masters’ articles and videos. What even more people don’t realise is the fact NibiruShock2012 even provided the original Photoshopped pictures he used in his videos, which you can see below.

Now anyone with even a shred of common sense can tell right away, without even “analyzing” them, that these pictures are Photoshopped hoaxes. But Marshall Masters didn’t actually analyze these ones, he chose a very unorthodox method of taking images of the actual YouTube player screen, and analyzing those. You cannot analyze anything that way, the images are pixelated and grainy and full of artifacts. You can see below a screen capped image we took of the same pictures in question, the quality is instantly degraded.

You can see by the text in the lower right and left how much the quality has degraded, this is because of how heavily YouTube compress videos after they have been uploaded. You can clearly make out what the text says in the origials. We have a date and time, and the word “LOG” followed by numbers. To show that Marshall Masters and his uneducated team of so-called “professional analysts” don’t know what they’re doing, or even what they’re seeing in the pictures, they thought the letters in the lower right spelt “LOO”. This just goes to show that without originals, no detailed analysis can take place. What’s even more humorous is the fact that throughout the NibiruShock2012 YOWUSA articles is that Marshall Masters writes such things as: “At first glance, the video passed the most basic Photoshop hoax smell test“, “It’s only through enhancing these photos that we get to see the actual shape of the objects. This observation is incredibly important from this writer’s point of view, because it reinforces two separate analyses of the cluster of objects. For this reason, this writer is inclined to believe that these photos are indeed real”, and “It proved that NibiruShock2012’s video is not a Photoshop hoax“. Instead of doing the most honest and intelligent thing by admitting they got it wrong, Marshall Masters and his team continues to believe the NibiruShock2012 photos are genuine. However, when it comes to people like Marshall Masters who have an agenda to make money from such a conspiracy, keeping it alive is the only way to attract more people and make more money from it. Zecharia Sitchin did it, Nancy Lieder did it, and now Marshall Masters want’s his slice of the cake. Rumors are around that the NibiruShock2012 hoax was a ratings and publicity stunt orchestrated by Marshall Masters himself to increase book sales, this being more likely and true than just a rumor and even going as far as to say that “The NibiruShock2012 YouTube account has been hijacked“. Going back to the AboveTopSecret.com thread where NibiruShock2012 came clean about the videos, Marshall Masters even found his way in there to make a post on page 8 and say:

“The original NibiruShock2012 did the first two videos. They passed image analysis. The original NibiruShock2012 was silenced after the 2nd video and an impostor assumed the account. The X cross video was a shoddy hoax intended to destroy the credibility of the first two videos. The writing voice changed dramatically with the third video.

I see a lot of intelligent folks on this thread doubting the veracity of this pretender with excellent questions. Good for you folks.

To the disinformation operative posing as NibiruShock2012 on this message board — no sale. Go back to your agency and tell them to cook up something new.

Without no proof of this whatsoever, Marshall Masters makes yet more bold claims and states the NibiruShock2012 who is posting in the AboveTopSecret.com message board is “not the real NibiruShock2012!”. What’s more likely is that if NibiruShock2012 is not Marshall Masters himself, he is/was known to him before this ratings scam took place. NibiruShock2012 may have decided he had enough and wanted out, leaving Marshall Masters no choice but to make up more outlandish claims. Finally we move on to the South Pole Telescope or SPT claims. In short: The South Pole Telescope (SPT) is a 10 meter diameter telescope located at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica. It is a microwave/millimeter-wave telescope that observes in a frequency range between 70 and 300 GHz. The primary science goal for SPT is to conduct a survey to find several thousand clusters of galaxies, which should allow interesting constraints on the Dark Energy equation of state. The project is a collaboration between the University of Chicago, the University of California-Berkeley, Case Western Reserve University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, the University of Colorado-Boulder, and McGill University. It is funded by the National Science Foundation.

So, these are the facts: The South Pole Telescope 1) is not associated with NASA, 2) is not an optical telescope, 3) is designed to measure galaxy clusters, not comparatively small bodies like stars or planets (mythical or otherwise). The main thing here is the fact that the SPT is a microwave/millimeter-wave telescope, not an Infrared telescope as Marshall Masters claims. The question is, why would you use a microwave telescope to track an object that puts out light in the Infrared spectrum? The answer is, you wouldn’t! To sum it all up, this whole Nibiru hoax is much like something from a zombie movie, these tiresome claims of a fictional, rogue planetary perturber simply won’t die. Spend some time educating yourself about the subject matter using reputable sources and hopefully you’ll begin to recognize just how ridiculous these claims are.

YOWUSA has apparently moved on to Planet X in 2012, which of course many claim is the end of the Mayan calendar. They use the same questionable “evidence” as many sites promoting the failed Planet X in 2003 scam although their articles are obviously the most professionally written articles to spew forth these false claims.

Many of the articles were authored or co-authored by Jacco van der Worp who YOWUSA claims to be a “Dutch Physicist”. Oddly enough Mr. van der Worp doesn’t seem to understand much about the field of physics or astronomy casting doubt on the degree he claims to have earned.

Among the false “signs” for Nibiru:

*The comet studies by Murray, Matese, Whitmire and others.

Obviously a physicist would realize that these studies indicate that something might orbit our Sun in a distant 3 to 5 MILLION YEAR orbit. This is not even remotely like the claimed 3600 year orbit for Nibiru yet someone claiming to be a physicist uses this as supporting evidence for it.

*Jupiter’s red spot is fading.

In reality it has been fading since it was discovered by Galileo in the 1600’s and this fading is nothing new.

*Neptune’s Great Dark Spot has vanished and another has appeared in a different latitude on the planet.

What they don’t tell is that the large spot on Neptune was seen once by Voyager 2 in 1989. When the Hubble space telescope looked again in 1995 they found this spot was gone and a new one was in the opposite hemisphere.

*Also, the single biggest volcanic eruption on record was recently observed on Jupiter’s moon, Io.

The truth? With more than 100 volcanoes Io is the most volcanically active body in our solar system. We have only been able to view a few of these eruptions, and the largest thus far was in Feb. 2001 viewed by the Hubble Space Telescope.

*There is a race to put humans on Mars by 2008 or 2009!

There is no evidence for such a claim, A Mars mission would cost billions and require years of planning just to land a few humans on Mars, yet this article implies that there is an effort underway to send a number of people to Mars as a “Safe Haven” from the passage of Nibiru.

And there are many other such claims in YOWUSA articles.

So why does YOWUSA have someone claiming to be a physicist and make such false claims as these?

As always, look for the financial motive.

Godschild Covenant: Return of Nibiru a Novel by Marshall Masters

Apparently publisher of YOWUSA Marshall Masters has written a novel about the Earth encountering Planet X or Nibiru in 2012. While criticizing the “Fear Mongers” such as Mark Hazlewood and Nancy Lieder, YOWUSA is working hard to keep the topic of Nibiru from fading now that the 2003 predictions have failed.
